The Arc Nature Coast Now Accepting Scholarship Applicants

The Arc Nature Coast, a non-profit charitable organization serving individuals with developmental disabilities in Hernando and surrounding counties, is now accepting applications for scholarships through July 31^st for the 2008/2009 fiscal year.

Scholarships are available for adult day training at the Neff Lake Road (Brooksville) program (including POSSE-Promoting Opportunities and Skills with Special equestrians), enclave work programs (Wal-Mart Distribution Center & SWFWMD) and  the Community Café (Spring Hill).

 Scholarships are available on a limited basis to those 18 years and older who have been diagnosed with a developmental disability such as autism, down syndrome, spina bifida, etc. Applicants must be a Florida resident, complete and submit a Financial Hardship Scholarship Application and have applied with the Agency for Persons with Disabilities’ Medicaid Waiver Program, but not yet receiving services through the Medicaid Waiver Program.
