provides individualized training in the community in
order for individuals to develop and enhance their
community involvement and become a contributing member
in the community. This service is based on the premise
that skill development can be best accomplished in an
individual's natural environment. These services support
the individual in valued roles in the community, are age
and culturally appropriate, increase the individual's
ability to control the environment, and encourage the
development of friendship with non-disabled persons.
